We come every year and have been camping here for over 20 years! Great site, clean and well stocked toilets and showers. Small shop selling essential items and food like breakfast baps and burgers and chips. We love it here....can get a bit windy as is at the top of a hill (which also means great views and little light pollution so fantastic for seeing the stars on a clear night). We'll be back again next year as usual.
We have been coming here on and off since 1980. It is a site that you feel that you should tell everyone about, but are tempted to keep it to yourself.The site is well kept by Dave and Allison, good toilets and showers. Set amongst beautiful scenery, a great location for walking, biking and all type of water sports, still unspoiled. Dave and Allison are very friendly, so I am very puzzled by some of the unpleasant reviews. I can only assume they were trouble makers, which Dave will not tolerate.
