Rhoscolyn is a terrific place for first time discovery, quick picnics, or as a base for coastal hikes to the north. Great views, great coast. With great things come great effort too, and perhaps one of the endearing features about the car park at Rhoscolyn is whether you will catch traffic along the unbelievable single lane road to the car park, or whether there will be any space at the car park when you do get there. Live with it - it is part of the beauty of a place like this. About a 20-30 minute walk from the car park is the holy well known as Ffynnon Gwenfaen.
Rambled a lovely figure of eight walk to coastline on both sides of the carpark here. Beautiful area with much to see. Toilets not open over winter.
Can get very busy on a sunny day! Toilets at free. Car park is 2 for 2 hours. 4 all day. Lovely beach and area to walk round.
