Great selection of local produce. Very good bakery with large selection of fresh bread and pastries. Easy parking and the usual Lidl prices. Great place to stop and stock up if you are staying nearby in a self catering holiday home. Good fresh meat and fish section. Recommend.
Love the fact that is almost always quite empty. The prices and quality of products are great. A negative point will for the fact that sometimes they bring some new products in, you try them, you like them but they might not be there anymore next time...

I asked a female member of management where the eggs were and was told in a curt manner "Where they used to be," when I replied that I'd not been in the shop before, she again was impolite saying that people ask because they were moved but have been put back, at which point I didn't bother to buy any eggs, her attitude was uncalled for, she just needed to say in a polite manner where I could find them. Never had this problem in other Lidl stores, which I use regularly.
They had what I needed and, in all fairness they usually do. Lidl better other supermarkets in Holyhead which is the main attraction.So why do I give only two stars?Firstly, the staff could try being more pleasant. Eye-contact, smile, a little politeness would go a long way.Second, there is never enough staff manning the tills. More often than not they only have one till open unless it becomes very busy. This can be frustrating especially when only purchasing a handful of items. Why have several tills when only one is manned?Finally, the store usually looks like it needs a good thorough cleaning. The floor, shelving and baskets just don't come up to scratch compared to other stores in Holyhead.I like what Lidl sell but, as mentioned above, they could do better.
