Just went in for a quick one, very good.
Lovely, friendly hotel. Stopped there about 30 times in the last 20 year's. Great stop before catching the ferry to Dublin (ferry port only about 20min walk ) not a great deal to do in holyhead ,but lots of good sights to see on the island.
The boathouse family are absolutely amazing from management to staff nothing is too much they even put a good show on at new years eve and is in my eyes a 5* hotel
Hubby & I travelled from Ireland via the ferry , decided to stay a night it Holyhead. Came across online The Boathouse Hotel (we booked on the ferry on our way across) little concern when arrived from outside..BUT you should never judge a book by its cover .. The Boathouse Hotel is a friendly,lovely clean hotel the room is good size & the Bistro Meals was huge & delicious (first decent steak I have had in 12 days of travelling) the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you for making us feel very welcome
