Beautiful place. Especially the little private beach near the house on the rocks which belonged to the aluminium mine at one time. So relaxing there
Lovely LONG walks in beautiful woodlands and coastal views. Definitely worth visiting. We go there every time we get the ferry to Ireland as it's just 10mins away. Only reason we gave it 4* is because the toilets are awful, no hot water and toilet paper is damp. You feel dirty on leaving.
Such an interesting park. This park is on the coast so we got a beautiful walk on the beach as well. The red squirrels were out and the autumn leaves were all in the ground. We had a wonderful long interesting walk with our dogs.
Lovely walk, even in the rain, I've been dozens of times and we seem to find a new walk every time we go. The beach is also beautiful no matter what the weather. Perfect for walking the dog. And the tea van is perfect for a hot cuppa on a cold day. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic place for older and younger persons alike lovely burger van that cooks fresh to order not 20 or 30 burgers cooking at once the kids also likes the ice cream van. Again nice fresh ingredients. The beach is good for the kids and woods good for the dogs so for a free day out its good for the whole family.
