This is definitely worth visiting whether you are interested in birds or simply exploring an amazing location. The scenery is spectacular and the area steeped in history from 2500 year old stone hut circles to Roman lookouts and remnants of a semaphore telegraph system from the early 1800's that gave early notice of ships approaching Liverpool docks. RSPB visitors centre and cafe too
Well worth the visit. Great place to see seabirds and walk by the sea. RSPB. Very pleasant cafe and shop.
Would recommend to any one. Just be prepared for the wind when you hit the bridge at the bottom. Fascinating place.
A great RSPB shop and cafe near to the lighthouse and viewing positions. Great for cliff nesting sea birds in spring. Look out for their famous chuff too.
This place is amazing, the RSPB put so must effort in to running and maintaining this. There are telescopes to look at the sea birds, live bird watching camera's which are mounted on the cliff edges and a museum part with books for sale, I love visiting with my family. The coastal walks around this place are spectacular Nearby there is a great little cafe run by the RSPB which serves good quality freshly prepared food which is reasonably priced, the cafe has good parking and toilets.
